Does my pet have an eye problem?

Symptoms that indicate your pet needs an eye examination are:

• Excessive squinting or blinking
• Excessive tearing, green or yellow discharge
• Eye appears larger or smaller than normal
• Cloudiness, loss of transparency
• Red eye
• Oversensitivity to light
• Irritation of the eyelids; swelling, crusting or itching
• Pawing at eyes or rubbing along the carpet
• Deterioration in eyesight or loss of vision
