ANIMAL EYE DOCTOR was founded by Dr. Isabel M. Buehler MRCVS in 2012. She qualified as a veterinary surgeon at Zurich University in Switzerland, where she also completed a doctoral degree at the institute of veterinary pharmacology. Dr. Buehler achieved the Provet certificate course in ophthalmology for dogs and cats, completed several courses in ophthalmology in Germany, Switzerland, France and the UK and gained invaluable experience in assisting at the department of ophthalmology at Zurich University. She won the Northern Irish VSSCO 2011 bursary award in the field of ophthalmology and is a member of the British Association of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. Dr. Buehler is recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as a RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology.
